Do you have everything you're supposed to want, but still feel like something is missing? You're not broken. You've just been looking in the wrong place.
I'm Russell Davis, therapist and executive coach. In Clarity Within, I help ambitious people reconnect with their innate confidence, find genuine clarity and purpose, and build a life that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside.
I know this territory firsthand. After years of striving, and an eight-year fertility journey that brought me to a breaking point, I discovered that clarity and confidence aren't things you earn. They already live within you.
Each episode explores honest conversations and real insights that create lasting change. Not tools or techniques. Just a deeper understanding of who you are and what you're truly capable of.
The search is over. It starts within.

This fertility journey can feel so hopeless. Surely having hope that you are going to have the baby you want so much is a good thing? Or is it?
On our fertility journey I was longing for us to have the baby we craved so much. However, that hope, that longing was driven by fear.
What if hope wasn’t actually useful?
How do you stay strong and keep going without hope? What do you do instead?
In this episode we explore how hope may actually be impacting your fertility journey and what is better than having hope. Something that may fast-track your journey to success.

I was asked to contribute to a book of real life stories where a change in perspective brought a change in life. In this episode I share my story that I wrote for the book. Find out hat changed in my thinking that led to my fertility improving dramatically (without me trying, I had given up trying to improve it!) resulting in the natural conception of our son against all odds.
My clients find their journey is like mine in so many ways. Could it be your story?

The biggest cause of stress on the fertility journey is the fear of running out of time. The race against the body clock.
This fear can lead us to doing so much to try and improve our fertility and chances of getting pregnant but often this is trying to deal with the symptoms and not the cause.
In this episode we look further upstream from the symptoms and look at what may the be the cause of your difficulties in getting pregnant whether naturally or with IVF.

How do we stay strong on this fertility journey? It can feel a real struggle at times when other people are getting pregnant, people say the most unhelpful comments, another failed pregnancy test or even Christmas and Mothers Day.
Most people underestimate the stress and distress infertility can bring. The first thing is to accept how tough it is and have radical self care.
Another thing is understanding why we feel like we cannot cope. When we feel like we cannot cope we don't realise we are not being present and we are not connected to our innate wellbeing and amazing capabilities we have as a human being to deal with reality.
In this episode we explore how you can be more connected to your resourcefulness and emotional resilience on this fertility journey.

On our fertility journey each morning I would take my pile of enormous pills praying it was making a difference. I had also changed all my underwear, stopped keeping my phone in my pocket, was having acupuncture but had no idea if all this effort was going to make a difference to my fertility.
But I couldn’t not do it.
I'd have done anything if I thought it might help. This is how our fertility and Project Baby can become all-consuming.
In this episode we look at how why we don’t feel in control of our fertility and what we can do about that.

One of the biggest sources of stress on this fertility journey is the fear of running out of time. Time and the chances of success slipping away. Michelle began working with me after three failed IVFs. She was 39 and felt incredible pressure to dive straight into her fourth IVF before the big 4-0. Psychologically it’s like 40 is the end. Why is this? Yes, fertility degrades over time but it doesn’t drop like a brick on your 40th birthday.
The expectation that it’s just not going to happen after 40 creates so much pressure and stress, what do you think happens? It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Expectations are toxic. They create self-fulfilling prophecies. They stop us from experiencing the possibility and wonder of life.
In this episode we look how you can let go of this fear of running out of time.

The emotional rollercoaster of fertility is an amplifier of fearful and insecure beliefs that you've had running in the background of your life for some time. This is why I am so thankful for my fertility journey. Not the 10 years of pain and heartache, but what I learned about myself at the lowest point when I did my own 'Project You' journey.
This resulted in me being far happier in myself, I stopped people-pleasing and knew I was OK for who I was - even before we got pregnant with our son.
What if this were true for you? What if this journey was amplifying existing limiting thoughts and beliefs that were preventing you from feeling complete, content and know the true worth of who you are in this moment?
What is your fertility telling you that might not only the gift for you in this journey but also the very thing that unlocks your ability to get pregnant.
