Do you have everything you're supposed to want, but still feel like something is missing? You're not broken. You've just been looking in the wrong place.
I'm Russell Davis, therapist and executive coach. In Clarity Within, I help ambitious people reconnect with their innate confidence, find genuine clarity and purpose, and build a life that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside.
I know this territory firsthand. After years of striving, and an eight-year fertility journey that brought me to a breaking point, I discovered that clarity and confidence aren't things you earn. They already live within you.
Each episode explores honest conversations and real insights that create lasting change. Not tools or techniques. Just a deeper understanding of who you are and what you're truly capable of.
The search is over. It starts within.

Any insecurity in our mind hates the unknown. Another part of our mind doesn’t like the idea of us being disappointed, let alone devastated, so doesn’t want you to get your hopes up.
These fears lead to your mind coming up with all the ‘evidence’ as to why you
Like many aspects of the fertility journey, I think the depth of emotional distress often experienced with miscarriage is not really acknowledged by people who've not experienced it.
There is grief. Grieving the loss of the baby you were so emotionally connected to from day one.
There can be guilt and blame. Perhaps blaming yourself for not doing the right thing thinking that has impacted your fertility or ability to hold down a healthy pregnancy.
Then there is the fear of it happening again. This is often the most significant. You move past the grief but the fear lingers on and doesn't seem to pass.
In this episode we explore how you can let go of that fear and other emotions to continue your fertility journey with more peace and hope.

The fertility journey can rob you of your femininity as a woman (and masculinity as a man but this episode is for the women).
My wish for you to know you are the powerful, beautiful, sassy, creative, sexy, nurturing feminine energy you are.
Society doesn't value feminine energy. Men often don't understand it and are often scared of it. This can leave women feeling disempowered, misunderstood and feeling wrong for feeling how they feel.
It's time women were empowered to be fully feminine. Yes at times they will want/need to be in their masculine, but it's time we valued and appreciated feminine energy, we need more of it in society to bring more balance.

This is not just for men experiencing infertility (whether their own or their partners) but also for women who may want to understand the fertility journey from a man’s perspective.
This is what I learned, what I wish I knew and what I am grateful for about our fertility journey and my experience of male infertility.
In this episode I share how I felt as a man with male infertility. My experience of supporting my wife when she had the fertility problems and the impact to our relationship. And what I wish I knew that would have made it all much easier.

The Fertile Mind helps you let go of psychological blocks to getting pregnant. My wife and I had a 10-year fertility journey and have seen infertility from pretty much every angle.
Looking back we can see how much our mind and emotions played a role in the journey and if knew then what we know now it would not have been a 10-year journey.
I believe too many couples go through fertility treatment unnecessarily and the success rate of fertility treatment is unnecessarily low because the mind and emotions are not treated. This is also the experience of my clients.
I went on to retrain as a Coach and Cognitive Hypnotherapist and now help women and couples on their fertility journey to fast-track their journey to success.
Join me each week as I help you off the emotional rollercoaster and guide your mind and body to your fertility success.
To your success!
Loving you

Usually one or the other person in a couple had the fertility ‘problem’ and often feels guilty as a result.
On our fertility journey I felt guilty that it was my fault my wife couldn’t be the mother she was born to be.
How do you stop thinking it’s your fault when it is clear it is your fertility problems preventing your partner being the parent they want to be?

On our 10 year fertility journey my wife and I saw infertility from every angle! Female infertility, male infertility, unexplained infertility, an infertility diagnosis, secondary infertility...
So what's the ONE thing I wish I knew on our fertility journey? What's the one thing I believe would have meant it would not have been a 10-year journey?
The lowest point in our fertility journey, getting my test result when we thought we were on the home straight sent me into a psychological tailspin. It triggered an inner journey I wasn't expecting or planning. But it is that inner journey that was the difference that made the difference. It is the same with my clients.
In this episode find out more about what specifically I learnt on my journey that unlocked things for us. So many of my clients have the same insights that unlocks their ability to conceive in their life, whether it's the baby or the career they crave.
