Something's missing, and you can't quite put your finger on what it is.
You're ambitious, you've worked hard, you've done everything right. And yet there's a quiet restlessness that success hasn't touched. I know that feeling personally. After ten years of infertility and a career that never felt like mine, I had to learn how to stop chasing happiness from the outside in, and find it from the inside out.
I'm Russell Davis, therapist and coach, and each week I share honest conversations, personal stories, and guided experiences to help you cut through overthinking and self-doubt and reconnect with the clarity, confidence, and well-being that's been inside you all along.
This isn't about coping techniques or self-help hacks. It's about getting to the root of what's keeping you stuck, and discovering that the life you want is closer than it feels.
New episodes every Tuesday.

Learning To Be Present
Tuesday Dec 02, 2025
Tuesday Dec 02, 2025
In this episode, I open up about one of the most painful moments in my marriage, when my wife told me she felt lonely in our relationship. That wake-up call helped me see just how much I’d been living in my head, disconnected from the present and the people I love. I share how childhood habits of overthinking became my coping mechanism, and how I’ve been learning to come back to presence, to love, and to life itself. This is a raw and honest reflection on the journey from numbing to feeling, from overthinking to connection, and from fear to freedom. I hope it helps you find more connection to your true self that knows you are OK, and to feel more connected to those you love.
